Admission Process and Eligibility Criteria:
At Priyadarshani School, the admission process is simple and transparent. Students must meet the age and academic eligibility criteria for their respective classes. Admissions are granted based on seat availability, interaction with the child, and submission of required documents within the given timeline.
General Admission Criteria
- Inquiry & Registration: Parents fill out an inquiry form and register for admission.
- Interaction/Assessment: Based on age and grade, students undergo an interaction or assessment.
- Documentation: Submission of required documents.
- Admission Confirmation: If selected, parents complete the admission process by paying fees.
Nursery to Grade 2 (Foundational Stage)
- Age Criteria (as per NEP 2020 & NCF 2022)
- Nursery: 3+ years by 31st March
- Junior KG: 4+ years
- Senior KG: 5+ years
- Grade 1: 6+ years
- Process: Interaction with the child & parents. No formal test.
Grade 3 to Grade 5 (Preparatory Stage)
- Eligibility: Completion of the previous grade from a recognized school.
- Admission Process:
- Basic assessment in English & Mathematics.
- Interaction with the student.
Grade 6 to Grade 8 (Middle Stage)
- Eligibility: Completion of the previous grade with a Transfer Certificate (TC).
- Admission Process:
- Written assessment in English & Mathematics.
- Interaction with the student and parents.
Grade 9 & Grade 10 (Secondary Stage)
- For Grade 9: Completion of Grade 8 from a recognized school.
- For Grade 10: Admission depends on availability and board regulations (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- A valid TC, report card, and board approval (if required) are necessary.
- Admission Process:
- Base line entry level Review (English, Math, Science, SST)
- Previous academic performance review.
